As the largest association of YMCAs in the State of New Jersey, the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges has an amazing opportunity to enrich the lives of thousands of children, families and individuals through programs that build spirit, mind and body. Our five YMCA branches offer a diverse and unique array of programs for people of all ages including childcare, summer camps, fitness, aquatics and before and after school programs just to name a few.  

At the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, we pride ourselves on ensuring that no one is ever turned away from one of our programs because they could not afford to participate.  We accomplish this goal through our Strong Kids Annual Support Campaign.  Each year
contributions made to the Strong Kids Campaign go directly to provide program support and financial assistance to deserving individuals, families and children in our YMCA’s service area. We urge you to help support this worthy cause and consider making a donation to this year’s Strong Kids Campaign.

The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is also pleased to present our newest initiative, Activate America.  This nationwide program is designed to combat obesity and sedentary lifestyles in America, with a long-term public health initiative that is focused on making healthy living a reality for millions of Americans. We are delighted to be teaming-up with YMCAs in the State of New  Jersey as well as countless YMCAs across the country to be a part of Activate America.
