Drama 1 Camp (Entering Grades 1 and 2)
Creative Drama Camps focus on building confidence by letting your child’s imagination take the lead role! Children progress from simple choreography and scripts to more advanced work throughout their journey in the years from Drama 1 to Drama 3.
Our staff will encourage your child to think freely and get creative through games, activities and productions. Children will develop characters that will culminate at the end of each session in a show production. Children will learn how to work as a team while spending time rehearsing and preparing for the shows. All aspects of each show are child-inspired, including set design, costume design and choreography. Our trained and passionate counselors assist the children with the entire show production from start to finish. What sets us apart from many other theater camps is that we are all about the drama process and not the product! Your child will shine in our Y Drama Camp.

“The counselors are just fantastic, they really make the camp as special as it is. I’m always amazed by how much they do with the plays in such a short amount of time.”
“I was very impressed with the mission statement of providing self-esteem and confidence building activities and it was evident through my daughter’s and my experience from day one. This was her first year in drama camp and she didn’t have any friends that she knew were attending. She was immediately made to feel welcome, the counselors were all respectful, attentive, friendly and obviously well trained. My daughter was in tears on the last day and asked me if she could go back next year!”
