Drama 1 Camp (Entering Grades 1 and 2)
Creative Drama Camps will introduce your child to the magical world of theatre! The possibilities are endless as we explore various acting, dancing, and singing techniques. Each year we build upon the knowledge and comfort level of theatre that each child brings in with them and take them to the next level.
Children progress from simpler choreography and scripts, to more advanced work throughout their journey in the years from Drama 1 to Drama 3. In addition, campers will also be introduced to the backstage world by creating their own costumes, props and scenery. Some of last year's theatre season included: Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Jack and the Bean Stalk and Treasure Island.
The campers will have level-appropriate swim instruction three times a week and attend at least one theatre-oriented field trip/workshop each session. Every three-week session will culminate with an evening performance. Registration and participation for the entire three week session is imperative to the production process. Single week registration is not available.

“The counselors are just fantastic, they really make the camp as special as it is. I’m always amazed by how much they do with the plays in such a short amount of time.”
“I was very impressed with the mission statement of providing self-esteem and confidence building activities and it was evident through my daughter’s and my experience from day one. This was her first year in drama camp and she didn’t have any friends that she knew were attending. She was immediately made to feel welcome, the counselors were all respectful, attentive, friendly and obviously well trained. My daughter was in tears on the last day and asked me if she could go back next year!”
