Global Arts Camp invites campers entering Kindergarten through Second grades to expand their boundaries and experience the sights, sounds and textures of countries in the world around them. We will inspire curiosity, hone social skills and build confidence by exploring the world through photos, cooking, music, painting, special events, visitors, and trips. There's daily play with group games, cultural dances, swim lessons and more. This is primarily an indoor camp concentrating on the culture and activities enjoyed by children in the countries we are exploring.
Campers produce high-quality crafts each session that link reading, gaming and math skills, resulting in beautiful artwork. Campers are sure to recognize their uniqueness and that of others around them. Each camp session ends with the campers hosting an art show illustrating the culture of the country they have been exploring for the past three weeks. A different country will be explored each session: Australia, Nigeria and Thailand. Due to curriculum, this camp is only offered in full three-week sessions.
