South Mountain YMCA

Teen Programs

In 1970, the South Mountain YMCA was created to fulfill a need in the Maplewood/South Orange communities for teen programming. Our organization is committed to serving this population with programs designed by our youth, for our youth. Special events will be held throughout the year with the planning and implementation by our teen population.

YOUNG LEADERS INTERACT CLUB (Grades 7-12)
This program is designed with the intention of helping teens become responsible community members through service projects, games, art, volunteering and workshops.
2nd and 4th Thursdays 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: Civic House - 124 Dunnell Road in Maplewood.
Fee: FREE - Please contact Tommy Donaldson directly for more details

FRIDAY TEEN GAME NIGHTS (Grades 5-8)
Teens enjoy an active evening with friends, making new friends and having a great time at the Y! Each week there will be different gym games, promoting positive recreational fun! The emphasis is in participation, and enthusiasm. Teamwork and strategy are more valuable than athletic skills and individual competitiveness.
Friday 7:30-9:30pm

Drop In Fee: Members $10; Non-Members $15/per night

TEEN TRIP SATURDAY (Grades 5th - 10th) - May 16, 2015
