This teen lead group is focused on Social Responsibility. Together they create and implement YMCA and community programs through volunteerism. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.

Teens enjoy an active evening with friends, making new friends and having a great time at the Y! Each week there will be different gym games, promoting positive recreational fun! The emphasis is in participation, and enthusiasm. Teamwork and strategy are more valuable than athletic skills and individual competitiveness.

This very popular course will give 11-15 year-olds the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Training will consist of videos, activities, and hands-on skill training and discussions. This course teaches how to respond to emergencies, illnesses, first aid, rescue breathing, appropriate care of children, decision-making skills, and child development. Each individual will receive an American Red Cross Certification Card upon completion. Materials, lunch and snacks will be provided. This class is offered periodically throughout the year. Early registration is strongly advised.
