Our Y is proud to be one of the largest providers of childcare, summer day camp and youth sports programs in our area. All programs and services are designed to nurture the potential of children, promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility. Located directly between the South Orange and Maplewood train stations, our extended hours of operation are designed to meet both the recreational needs of our youth as well those of working parents.

The South Mountain YMCA Youth Traveling Basketball Teams concluded their season this past weekend (March 7-8, 2015) with great success at the New Jersey YMCA State Youth Basketball Tournaments held at the Wayne YMCA and the Wycoff YMCA on March 1. Metro YMCA kicked off Annual Support Campaign to strengthen community with a Wizard of Oz - "There's No Place like the Y" theme.
