Everybody is going gaga over Gaga! The Y has a brand new Gaga pit. Gaga is a fun, energetic, lively game said to be invented in Israel and is now played all around the world. Inside this 18’ octagonal walled pit, gaga players slap with their hands small foam balls attempting to make the ball strike any opponent in the pit below their knees. If struck, the opponent is out of the game. The last person standing is the winner. For this class, the Y will play variations that keep the kids in the game. Build your child’s agility, quickness and hand eye coordination as well as promote cardio endurance. Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility will be incorporated into the class.
