West Essex YMCA Open House on Jan. 4

 LIVINGSTON, NJ - Area residents are invited to an open house on Saturday, Jan. 4 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. to see all that the West Essex YMCA has to offer. Guests can enjoy free activities for adults and children, including:

  • Adult Fitness Classes starting at 8 a.m. with Cycle classes and Defend Together, a challenging and motivating workout for both men and women.
  • Child Watch Hours from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., where children can have fun while parents try out the Y’s state-of-the-art cardio and weight room equipment.
  • Youth Sports Classes from 10 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. including Sports Galore, basketball and tennis. 
  • Swim Evaluations from 10:30 a.m. - 11: 15 a.m.
  • Camp Fair from 2 - 4 p.m. Meet camp directors and find out how to have the best summer ever at the Y.
  • Family Night from 5-7 p.m., including a Bounce House, Arts and Crafts and Messy Science Experiments 
  • Family Swim from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Y’s indoor pool

Let the Y help you achieve your fitness goals for 2020. Everyone who joins the Y by Jan. 31 can enjoy a $0 joiner fee and a free MyFit starter fitness program, a $400 value. The Y MyFit program is designed to help you reach your goals faster and try new things with a personal training coach. Perks of the MyFit VIP program include unlimited guest passes, a personalized workout, a free 1-hour session with a personal trainer, and access to the Y’s personal app. .
