The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is kicking off the 2020 Annual Support Campaign, with a goal of raising $1,180,000 to keep programs like child care, summer camp, and swim lessons affordable for all people in the community.

Through donations and pledges received during the Annual Support Campaign, the Y is able to help individuals and families access programs that improve their health and well-being, regardless of their economic status. Contributions could help a family with extenuating circumstances pay for child care, a YMCA membership, or summer camp, or help a cancer survivor regain their strength and find a community through the LIVESTRONG at the Y program.

"The Metro YMCA of the Oranges and its branches work every day to make a direct and meaningful impact in the lives of children and families by promoting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility,” said Richard K. Gorab, president and CEO of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. “Funds raised through this year's Annual Support Campaign will allow us to continue this important mission in our communities and give more people the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.”

Each Metro YMCA branch will hold a kick-off event, inviting members, staff, and local residents to join in supporting the Y’s cause. Contact your local YMCA branch for more information about the campaign and how you can be a part of it.
