Y Camp Story: Grateful for the Y

Keira W. and Madison W. at the Sussex County YMCA pool.

I have been amazed and impressed at how organized and coordinated the Y Summer Day Camp program has been running.

I have only the absolute best and most positive things to say about every aspect of it. I am overwhelmed with gratitude that the staff was able to open camp this summer. The kids went through such a transition with having to stay home at the beginning of spring and then being away from friends, family, and school schedules for a while. I am forever grateful to the Y for the efforts being put forth to make the summer special during such a trying time.

I would also like to commend the amazing staff at the Y. At ALL times, every child has been treated with kindness and respect and the staff has been so friendly.

My daughter, Keira has been so eager to attend every day and as a parent, I feel confident knowing that at the end of each day, she has had fun and has had an opportunity to enjoy her summer! At this point, I will continue to send her each summer. I thank you so much for your continued dedication and compassion that you put forth for each individual there.
