The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is proud to announce the appointment of Edward G. Philipp as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2027.

LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, a leading non-profit organization serving Bergen, Essex, and Sussex counties, has named Deborah “Deb” Kessler as its new Chief Development Officer.

LIVINGSTON, NJ - The West Essex YMCA at 321 S. Livingston Ave. recently welcomed several new members to its Board of Managers. The board works in close partnership with the Y’s leadership team to ensure that facilities and programs match the Y’s mission and remain accessible to all in the community.

In her new role, Guadagno will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and execution of high-impact fundraising events to support the Y’s mission and goals.

NEW MILFORD, NJ - Ken Riscinti, a dedicated YMCA professional who manages facility maintenance for the New Milford YMCA Program Center and two other YMCA locations, has been awarded the title of Staff Member of the Year for 2024 by the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges.

LIVINGSTON, NJ -  The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is excited to announce that two staff members were recently named by the YMCA of the USA’s National Emerging Leaders Resource Network as “30 Under 30” award winners for 2024. The honorees include Maya Gujral, Program Manager and Assistant Summer Camp Director at Fairview Lake YMCA Camps, and Mila Momphotes, Business Development Coordinator for the Metro YMCAs.

EAST ORANGE, NJ - East Orange YMCA Executive Director Washima Redding has been selected to participate in the Multicultural Executive Development Institute, a program that helps emerging leaders from multicultural backgrounds advance their careers at the Y.

LIVINGSTON, NJ - The West Essex YMCA has selected Shannon Frank as its new Associate Executive Director, responsible for leading the daily operations of the branch and its staff, and working alongside District Executive Director Cheryl Tuturice to grow membership and enhance programs and services that uphold the Y’s mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
