NEW Monthly Drafting For Swim Lessons

We have a new program session structure to better meet your needs. Beginning with Fall programs, all of our Swim Lessons will now be on a convenient low monthly draft. Your child will now have more consistency with our instructors over a longer period of time creating stronger swimmers and creating more convenience for you. In addition, starting or stopping your monthly draft is easy and painless.

FAQ’s

Q: “Will ALL Y program schedules be changing?”

A: Yes! All Y programs will now fall into one of these two categories:

  • SEASONAL (fall, winter, spring, summer)
  • MONTHLY DRAFTING (September – June)

Q: “Why is the program structure changing?”

A: We listened to our members’ feedback! Surveyed members asked for fewer registration cycles, easier payment options and program schedules that better fit their lifestyles.

Q: “Will my child’s program quality change?”

A: The program will continue to provide the outstanding quality as in the past. In addition, program staff will have a longer period of time to spend teaching your child and can therefore provide even better instructional consistency.

Q: “I’m not sure I will be able to afford this now!”

A: You’ll be happy to know that when we changed the session length and structure we also added more payment options! For our September-June programs, monthly payments will be smaller and easier than paying upfront.

Q: “What happens if I don’t want to do a full year?”

A: No problem! You can attend for the length of time that works for you.  When you choose the monthly draft option, we require at least two months of participation, and after that, you’re free to withdraw from the program any time. (Just let us know 30 days in advance to stop your payment!)

Q: “How do I cancel my monthly payments?”

A: Just fill out a withdrawal request at the Welcome Center at least 30 days before your next payment, and we’ll withdraw you or your child from the program and cancel future charges.

Q: “Can I switch programs mid-year?”

A: Sure! Just fill out a program transfer form at the Welcome Center.

Q: “Are there refunds if I miss a class?”

A: Only under certain circumstances.  Remember, we’re planning for and staffing for you or your child to be present regardless of whether or not you attend. Refund requests may be granted in the case of extenuating circumstances provided they are submitted with proper documentation (e.g. medical).

Q: “How will my child’s skills progress without changing levels?”

A: Your child will progress and build new skills each week. Our instructors will continually challenge and support his/her progress throughout the year.

Q: “Do I have my choice of automatic payment dates?”

A: For simplicity and to ensure that we’re providing the best possible customer service, all monthly drafting programs are set to charge on the 2nd of the month.

Q: “What happens if my automatic payment bounces?”

A: You’ll receive a notification with easy instructions on how to take care of your balance at the Welcome Center.

Q: “What if I want to change credit cards mid-year?”

A: Easy! You can edit your payment details any time at the Welcome Center.
