FAQs
What is SGA Pulse?
SGA Pulse is our new member account management system designed to make your YMCA experience more seamless. With Pulse, you’ll enjoy an easier check-in process, streamlined program registration and class sign-ups, and improved communication with your Y.
Why are we switching systems?
We’re making this transition to provide you with a better, more user-friendly experience. SGA Pulse offers enhanced features that help you stay connected with your Y community and make managing your membership more convenient.
Do I need to create a new account once the new system is launched?
If your email is on file with the Y before July 28, 2025, an account has been created for you. If you’re signing up for a Y membership or program for the first time, you will need to create a new account.
Once SGA Pulse is up and running, here is a guide to help you log in to your existing Y account or create a new one.
Will my current membership, payment info, and reservations transfer automatically?
Some information will transfer, but we recommend reviewing your details in Pulse after setup. You may need to re-enter or confirm your billing information.
What about my class registrations and schedules?
Upcoming class schedules will be visible in Pulse. You may need to re-register for certain programs or classes after transitioning—our team will notify you if this applies to you.
Will I still be able to check in the same way?
Yes, you’ll be able to check in using your digital barcode from the Y360 mobile app or by scanning your membership card at the front desk.
Who can I contact for help?
Our team is here to help! Visit the front desk, call us, or check our website for helpful tutorials and walkthroughs. We’ll also be hosting in-person and virtual transition support sessions.
When is the switch happening?
We’ll officially move to SGA Pulse on July 31, 2025. Members will be able to begin setting up accounts July 31, 2025.
Will my privacy and data be secure?
Absolutely. SGA Pulse is a secure system that complies with all data protection regulations. Your information will be safe and handled with the highest standards of care.
