Adult Programs

Our adult exercise classes and sports programs promote fitness and well-being, while fostering community. Make new friends, increase self-confidence and improve your spiritual, mental and physical health.  We offer easy drop-in programs where no membership is required for these Adult Classes.  Call our Welcome Center (973) 762-4145 for more information.

Zumba® (Ages 18+)

Certified Zumba instructor, Dionne Colonhigh, energy and enthusiasm are contagious and will help you get in great shape, relieve stress and burn calories - all while having a blast! The Zumba® program fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a fitness program that will blow you away. Tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. All levels welcome, no need to be a good dancer to do this class. 

Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30pm
Location: YMCA Program Center
Fee: $5 Drop in fee per class. First time participants, arrive 5 minutes early to register.

Adult Volleyball (Ages 18+)

A great way to stay fit while having fun! 

Sundays 7:30 - 9:30pm 
Location: Gym @ 13 Jefferson Ave., Maplewood
Fee: $5 Drop in fee. No preregistration required.

Additional adult programs are available at the West Essex YMCA
in Livingston for Facility Y Members. You can upgrade a program membership at any time to take advantage of free wellness classes at the West Essex YMCA.
