Culinary Adventures

Meet Chef Lila:

"After graduating from the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan, I worked as a private chef and in catering. I also ran a children’s cooking program on the Upper East side and am thrilled to now be heading up the culinary program at the South Mountain YMCA. Getting children excited about eating vegetables and trying something new is what I love to do. Still, as a Mom, I know first-hand what a challenge it can be to get children to try healthier foods. My goal is to make the class room kitchen experience so much fun that they won't mind trying something outside their comfort zone." llea@metroymcas.org
