Welcome to Camp

SOMAPY Entering Gr. 1 - 3
SOMAPY CLUBHOUSE Entering Gr. 4 - 7

Our camps are jammed packed with creative play, sports, activities, swim instruction, and field trips. We're about team-work, curiosity, building self-confidence, and cultivating independence. We are committed to the development of our campers. We emphasize making friends, resolving conflicts, and working cooperatively with others.

Unplugging from technology and connecting with other campers enables us to interact effectively and more kindly with each other. Every day, groups rotate through weekly themes that explore new topics. Educational programs, field trips, and instructive entertainers are featured each week.

Activities include daily swim instruction and free swim, organized team-building games, animation, nature/science activities, and mini-sport clinics like soccer, karate, nutrition, and basketball. Daily swim instruction is progressive and based on camper's level of competency.

Parent Shout-Outs:

"I can sincerely say my child is a different person at the end of August that she was in June.  She is in orders of magnitude more confident (I think as a result of learning how to swim and other physical activities she found difficult previously), and she demonstrates a new found cognizance of kindness and respect.  She is less fearful of trying new things and exudes a self-contained, quiet pride in herself and her abilities that makes me tear up, just thinking about it.  Truly, her growth at SOMAPY is more than I could have hoped for.  We will definitely be returning next year."
