Vacation Camp: No School, No Worries!

Child Care, for children in Kindergarten through 5th grades, is offered when the South Orange / Maplewood School District is closed during the school year.We offer care at many locations incluing our Program Center, Civic House and the First Presbyterian and Trinity Church. Special activities, theme days, field trips, art, cooking and sports are part of the fun! The program runs from 7am until 7pm. Member fee $85 per child/Community fee $105 per child.

Advance registration is required. Vacation Camp program dates are based on the South Orange/Maplewood School District's schedule. 

Complete Program Registration Form to register. Required to complete only once annually. Return the completed form and payment to the South Mountain YMCA at 13 Jefferson Avenue, Maplewood or fax it to: 973.762.2064. Space is limited to the first 70 registrations.

15-19 Spring Break 



Snow Camp is available when schools are closed for snow days.  This program is for children in grades K-5th.

To secure a spot, pre-registration is required and space is limited to the first 45 children. Available to SACC participants only. Complete Program Registration Form to register.  Required to complete only once annually.

A $80 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.  This fee will be applied to the first snow day. Each snow day thereafter, an additional fee of $80 will be charged to your credit card. Any fees paid are non-refundable, including years when there are no snow related closed days.

The day includes games, sports and more! Please pack your child a bag lunch and a healthy snack.
