What's Included in This Program?

The Counselor-in-Training Program (CIT) is an all-inclusive program that teaches teens a wide variety of skills they can use later in life. Open to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15, this summer camp offering allows participants to help senior counselors organize games and activities for younger campers. They'll help counselors with a variety of daily responsibilities to make camp go smoothly for all participating children. At the end of this program, many CIT participants come away with heightened leadership skills, improved communication, and a better appreciation for teamwork. Attending this camp makes for excellent resume experience for your teen!

2020 Camp Counselor-in-Training Program Details

Unfortunately, our CIT Program has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we're excited to welcome participants back to our facilities on July 6. We've had to cancel our first session scheduled for June, but we hope to continue the rest of the summer as planned. Prospective counselors-in-training must complete an interview before being accepted to the program and then attend a pre-camp orientation. During your child's session, lunch is available from The Rustic Café at an additional fee. Consult our reopening guide for more details on the precautions we're taking as we move forward with our summer camp programs.
