Pre-K Two

At a 1:6 ratio, our Pre-K Two classroom is a fun, nurturing environment for our “little” learners to grow. When you enter the classroom during the day you will encounter many different experiences because the children are learning so many new things emotionally and intellectually. That the room is always very busy!

Program Highlights

  • Daily written communication is given to children highlighting their day.
  • The classroom is set up with different learning centers for the children to explore and learn.
  • We create an environment that helps each child develop in their social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language domains. Children are stimulated in age appropriate activities such as art projects, simple science explorations, simple math experiences, simple games, songs and stories.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Play
  • Gym and Music + Movement Enrichment each week

Pre-K Three

At a 1:10 ratio, our Pre-K Three classroom is where our “little learners” start to grow up. During the Pre-K Three year the children are really diving into learning through concrete subjects and explorations. The teachers plan thoughtfully to explore concepts of literacy, math, science, and social studies while still having fun!

  • The classroom is set up with different learning centers for the children to explore and learn.
  • We create an environment that helps each child develop in their social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language domains.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Play.
  • Swim, Gym and Music + Movement Enrichment each week starting in September. Theatrical Arts Enrichment added mid year.

Pre-K Four

At a 1:12 ratio, our Pre-K Four classroom focuses on preparing for your child’s Kindergarten experience. During the Pre-K Four year the children are fine tuning the skills they learned in Pre-K Three and applying them. They are continuing to learn through concrete subjects and explorations. The teachers plan thoughtfully to explore concepts of literacy, math, science, healthy living and social studies while still having fun! There is a strong focus on literacy in Pre-K Four. We implement the FUNDATIONS language arts curriculum, which supports students emerging understanding of alphabetic principles through letter-sound associations, alphabetical order, and letter formation.
