Child Care Registration


Pre-registration is required for all West Essex YMCA Before and After School Programs. For the 2019/2020 school year, the Y is introducing a new member-focused online account management and registration system. Our new system will allow you to register for childcare online from anywhere!

What will I need to register?

  • The annual tuition will be billed in weekly installments. A credit/debit card or checking account is required to make your initial payment and schedule your future payments. Two weekly tuition installments and a Registration fee (if applicable) will be due at sign-up. Future payments will be scheduled to automatically charge to the financial information you provide.

How do I complete and submit the required parent information forms?

  • As required by our State of NJ license, completed parent information forms (Parent Agreement, Medical Release etc) will be required before your child can attend care. These forms will be sent to your electronically, more information to follow.

Open registration begins May 29th for new families


Who is eligible?

    • Participants currently enrolled in Before and/or After School programs.
    • Siblings of current participants.
    • Rising kindergartners from our Peanut Shell Early Childhood Learning Centers (ECLC).

Do I need to do anything before registration begins?

  • Get connected. Starting May 6, 2019, at 9am, activate and log in to your new online account to make sure all of your family’s information is correct and up to date prior to the start of registration.
  • Priority online registration opens May 13, 2019. Registration start time will be shared with eligible families closer to the registration start date.

Space is limited - early registration is recommended. A waiting list is available if the site is at maximum capacity.
