Super Summer Camp


For campers entering K - 6 th Grade

CIT Program for young teens entering 9th and 10th grade

Super Summer Day Camp is a full day, five day a week program for campers entering Kindergarten through Sixth Grade and for parents who desire affordable, high quality care. Located at Livingston High School, campers enjoy all the amenities of an air-conditioned environment with superb indoor and outdoor facilities.

All campers are grouped by the grade they will enter in September. Activities include Art, Archery, Science, Drama, Sports, Cooking, Dance, CATCH Games and Swimming. Super Summer campers go on exciting trips weekly; one trip for K - 3rd, one trip for Grades 4 & Up. Best of all, trips are included in the cost of camp!

Camp Director: Fran Egnezzo is the face of Super Summer Day Camp. She is at camp from the time the first camper arrives until the last camper gets picked up at the end of the day. Fran’s goal is to keep the campers active, safe and most of all having fun. Fran leads a staff team who work year round in the Y’s after school programs. She has great relationships with the families who return year after year.

Camp Dates: June 29 - August 21, 2020 (vacation week offered August 24 - August 28)

Minimum Camper-to-Staff Ratio: Grades K: 5 to 1, Grades 1 - 3: 8 to 1; Grades 4 and Up: 10 to 1

Camp Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm. Before and After Camp Care is available from 7:00am - 9:00am at Livingston High School and 5:00pm - 6:30pm at the Y (no additional charge)

How to Register

Register online for 2020 camp. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required per week to secure your child’s spot. A current West Essex YMCA membership throughout the length of camp participation is required at the time of registration to secure membership rates, otherwise the Community Member rate will apply. Community members may register after February 1st. The balance for all camp is due in full 60 days prior to the 1st day of the camp session your child is attending, or your child's spot in camp may be opened up to the wait list and your deposit will be forfeited.
